Position: Robot Compute/Processing Architect
A robot compute/processing architect will be responsible for evaluating the performance and efficiency of CPU and GPU hardware and system options for implementation across the product line of future designs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements :
This robot compute/processing architect position requires a deep, thorough, and broad working knowledge of modern CPU and GPU hardware and software architectures, as well as general system architecture. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, hard working, and have a proven track record of CPU and GPU architecture experience. A methodical and structured approach to architectural power and performance analysis is a must. Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are also a must. The key to this position will be the ability to do deep architectural analysis and leverage that into concise optimization/improvement efforts communicated effectively across management, internal development teams, and our external vendors. Successful candidates will be expected to interface with multiple disciplines in a robotics environment.
